The conference officially begins on Wednesday evening with the Opening Reception at the hotel. Society leaders and first-time attendees are invited to attend a special reception (invitation only). Don't miss this opportunity to reconnect with fellow members and network with newcomers. The Opening Reception is open to all adult registrants and their registered spouses/guests.

This year’s speakers are particularly topical. SEC Commissioner Robert Jackson will provide our opening address. Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, partner at Covington & Burling, will deliver a keynote address on corporate culture. J.D. Vance, New York Times best-selling author of Hillbilly Elegy, will be our Thursday luncheon speaker.

On Thursday, we will explore the rise of “fake news” with Jennifer Kavanaugh, Associate Director, Strategy, Doctrine, and Resources Program, RAND Arroyo Center, and author of Truth Decay, An Initial Exploration of the Diminishing Role of Facts and Analysis in American Public Life.

Our nation’s capital is known for its share of balls, so for our closing event on Friday evening we’ve planned our own at the National Museum of American History. Our sports-themed “ball” will celebrate our favorite ball sports. Don’t pass on this evening to enjoy museum exhibits, kick up your heels and swing your partner on the dance floor.

Or sit on the sidelines at the dinner buffet and bar. We encourage you to come dressed showing your hometown/team pride. Eagles, Patriots, Dodgers, Astros, Cavaliers, Warriors and all other fans and spectators welcome to come and have a ball!

On Saturday, come learn about recent developments in Delaware law from the Honorable Karen Valihura, Delaware Supreme Court Justice. Our other special guests include Steven A. Bank, Paul Hastings Professor of Business Law at UCLA who will discuss the international governance problems in the world of soccer. Finally, we close with lunch speaker Kate Andersen Brower, author of best-seller The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House, and the forthcoming First in Line: Presidents, Vice Presidents and the Pursuit of Power.
